We are honored to welcome Terè Chapman Fowler, an award-winning poet, facilitator, and human in recovery, to The Courage to Be Seen. Through their poetry, Terè transforms experiences of grief, survival, healing, and resilience into powerful expressions of truth and connection. Their work reminds us that recovery is more than overcoming—it is reclaiming your voice, owning your story, and allowing yourself to be fully seen. At this year’s gala, Terè will bring the power of spoken word to the stage, reminding us that our stories can become both a pathway to healing and a light for someone else.
Autumn Rashea -Opera Singer & Vocalist
We are honored to welcome Autumn Rashea, an opera singer, woman in recovery, and member of the HardBeauty Foundation Board of Directors, to The Courage to Be Seen. Autumn brings together artistry, lived experience, and service in a way that beautifully reflects the heart of this event. Through her voice, she reminds us that recovery can be powerful, expressive, and deeply human—and that healing often gives us the courage to step fully into who we are meant to become. At this year’s gala, Autumn will share her extraordinary gift of music while representing the strength, hope, and possibility that exist within the recovery community
Tom “El RastaSalsa”, Dance
We are excited to welcome Tom “El RastaSalsa” Ogunribido to The Courage to Be Seen. A Denver-based Salsa and Bachata instructor, musician, and founder of RastaSalsa Dance, Tom has spent more than two decades immersed in music and movement, bringing an infectious energy to every space he enters. Through dance, Tom creates connection, confidence, and joy—reminding us that healing and recovery are not only about surviving difficult chapters, but also about rediscovering the freedom to move, celebrate, and fully experience life.
